Story

On the first of may my brother was put into intensive care following a diabetic hypo. This lead to many complications, including a severe brain injury. My brother Martin is only 35 years old and we were told twice that his machines were to be switched off, both times Martin defied the odds and proved the doctors wrong. Although he has started making progress he still has a long way to go and has to learn basic life skills again such as talking and walking. This has been a worst nightmare for not only the family but for Martin who finds it hard to communicate now he doesn’t have the ability to. This fundraiser is to raise awareness around brain injuries and also diabetes. Any donations would be much appreciated.
