This year, sadly one of our local runners passed away following a stroke.  He had been a patient of mine and was a familiar face at our local club events.  Stroke can strike at any age and have devastating effects.  Even super fit athletes can suffer a stroke without any warning.  I love running and love Anglesey so decided to combine the two and enter the Ring of Fire which covers the entire coast of the island in 3 days.  I was going to do it anyway but have decided to raise some money for the stroke association to help them support stroke sufferers and their families.
