I am running a marathon next year in Bethlehem to support the work of small groups in the area who are working towards building community and working towards peaceful society. I feel so privileged to be running for these groups. All money raised goes to the project, Mark and I cover all our travel and costs.

A lot of reporting for this area doesn't spell out that the folk in Palestine go without water and basic amenities. Palestinian people are not able to freely move within Palestine, with boarder checks being imposed on them. They are not in control of their own boarders and have no say on who gets a visa and they are not free to trade goods with the rest of the world. 

Centres such as the Wi'am centre seek to promote dignity for all in a peaceful way and strive for futures with hope rather than violence.
