We help people diagnosed with a brain tumour. We aim to give everyone diagnosed access to the resources that will put them back in control. We enable brain tumour patients and carers to become resilient and to utilise brain tumour support resources from all providers to their full potential.

Story

Thanks for stopping by!

my name is Fran, also known to my cosplay friends as 'Kitteh'. I am raising money for Brain trust to support the amazing work they do for very personal reasons as I myself had a Olgiodendroglioma Grade II removed in June 2013 (The tumour has been dubbed Frank) I have been very lucky as I have as of yet not needed any further treatments but I am as a consequence now epileptic.

I am running the half-marathon to show my tumour that despite everything that has happened and will happen it has not got me down! I am still in charge and still have a smile on my face and that will never change!

i have set myself an additional goal: if this page gets to beyond £1000 I will run the half marathon in costume!! There will be a vote on what costume to wear at a later date if I get that far ;) there will be a selection to choose from ;) I will add the disclaimer that I may have to modify the costume to make it comfortable to be able to run in, so nothing completely ridiculous ;)

Thanks again for your support!! I will make you all proud :)

It takes more than this to bring a Jedi Knight (or indeed a Sith Lord, a witch, a Judge, a Mandolorian warrior, or any other variety of sci-fi awesomness) to their knees... ;)
