As some of you know I have always wanted to do the GNR as a local lad, watching thousands every year line the streets of Newcastle cheering on friends,family and complete strangers to raise money for a charity that needs help. This year I have finally got the nuts to go out and do it myself after for years of saying " maybe next year" like we all do. I applied and thankfully Durham CCC foundation had a place for me and helped me along the way how to get into the race and what I had to do to raise money for the charity. After reading into what the charity does for our community and for others around us and the world I thought this would be perfect. Obviously a few of you reading this will know I played games in youth setups for Durham and I still do play local league cricket and do still love them game. 

However this is the hard bit. Every day you see someone wanting money for this and that, a new car to something as easy as a a coffee. Scratching around your purses/wallets for a few quid isn't always ideal so I thought I'd make a just giving page so you know when you have a few minutes you can easily donate to this great cause and support me along the way or pay to see me suffer . One way or another. Please help in any way you can, no donation is ever too big or small.
