We raise funds in Rutland to benefit the Rutland community

Story

For Rutland raises funds to pay for specialist advisers, who provide free, confidential, independent, non-medical advice to people of all ages, who are living with long-term conditions in Rutland and the surrounding area.

1 in 4 people in the UK suffer from long-term conditions, such as cancer, strokes, dementia, Multiple Sclerosis, heart disease and mental illness. This affects every part of our community and people of all ages.

The point of diagnosis is often just the beginning. Living with the practical problems associated with long conditions can be overwhelming at a time when people are at their most vulnerable.

About the charity

For Rutland is a fundraising group of Rutland Citizens Advice. Its aim is to raise funds to benefit the Rutland community - its current priority is to support the Citizens Advice project to provide advice to people living with long term medical conditions such as cancer and dementia.
