Each year, one of my goals is to do something for charity. The last two years have been baking, and whilst this is both fun and tasty - it is a hobby I am very much comfortable doing.

So, to give myself a true challenge - this year I'm going to abseil down the Park Regis Hotel in Birmingham on the 8th July for John Taylor Hospice.

I have always been close to my Grandparents - and John Taylor Hospice provided specialist and considerate palliative care for my Grandmother in particular. Now it's time for me to do something for them...
