London Marathon 2022 · 2 October 2022 ·

Motor Neurone Disease moves fast. It takes away time, it takes away independence and it has no cure. Every day we support people affected by MND. We fund ground-breaking research. We campaign for better care. We’re here for everyone who needs us. Because with MND, every day matters.

Story

In February 2019, my husband Seb at the age of 32 was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND).

To say it was devastating to be told that my Husband would slowly lose the ability to walk, use his arms and hands, speak or swallow and then finally breathe is an understatement!

We married a mere three years ago, our lives mapped out and now we have a incurable battle to fight, one which we will almost certainly lose...

So in April 2019 I was watching the London Marathon and I said to Seb, I want to do that... so I picked up the laptop and applied... What better way to raise money for this charity - Run the London Marathon. Most people think I'm bonkers (which I am!), but I want to do this for Seb but also for everyone fighting this disease.

So I am asking if everyone could please help out and donate as much as you can for this amazing charity. Any donations will be very much appreciated.

Right so lets get training... Wish me luck!!
