Every step we take should enrich our lives. I am hoping to do the same for others, by taking many, many steps during the training runs, the events I'll enter, and of course, the race itself.

When we push ourselves out of our comfort zones, maybe then we can get a sense what uncomfortable feels like. However, can we imagine what it's like to have your whole world literally ripped apart, due to conflict in your country.

For this reason, I aim to push myself beyond what I think is possible. In doing so, to raise awareness for War Child to assist them in rebuilding the lives of as many of the affected kids as possible by participating in the 2017 Marathon de Sables. A 255km, self supported, 6 day race across the Sahara desert.
