The Little Princess Trust is a charity which provides real hair wigs to boys and girls in the UK who have lost their hair through cancer treatment. The wigs made from donated hair which they provide the children are free, however sometime's suitable donated-hair cannot be sourced and the charity has to purchase the wigs costing £350 - £500. Thus it's really important to raise money alongside donating hair. 

Regardless of any money raised, I will be donating about 8 inches of my hair which will be cut on the 13th September 2016 - but every little helps.
