We are a team of twelve cyclists and a mixture of pupils, teachers, parents and governors taking on this challenge for Derian House. This charity was chosen by our Student Council and the team have been training since January to cycle from the southernmost point in England to the northernmost point in Scotland; 950 miles in two weeks! “ Derian House is renowned throughout the region as being at the forefront of children’s palliative and respite care. They offer families who have a child with a life-limiting condition a choice from a range of care and support services. Derian House is committed to the highest standards of children’s hospice care and is currently supporting more than 300 families who have a child or young adult with a life shortening condition. Additionally to this they are also providing bereavement support to a further 200 families”
