This year we are raising money for Lubbock Fine's charity of the year, Teach a Man to Fish, by taking part in two separate running events.

Teach a Man to Fish was founded in 2006 in London by Nik Kafka.  Their mission is to change the world through transforming education in the developing countries. They work to empower young people in Africa, Latin America and Asia by providing them with a better quality and more relevant education so that they leave school prepared to succeed in work, in further education, and in life.

On 1 May 2016 a group of 17 Lubbock Fine employees will be entering a 12 hour relay race known as the Lightning Run.  This will involve teams of 5, running laps of 10k continually for a 12 hour period.  We are entering 3 separate teams of 5 and then as we have managed to find people crazy enough to do it, we are also entering one team of 2!!!!

In addition on June 5 2016, Bryony Digby and Matthew Green will be taking to the Ugandan trail to run 26.2 miles to raise as much money is possible for this fantastic charity.

Every single penny you sponsor them will be going to the cause as they are self funding the trip, so no matter how big or small we appreciate all of your donations and thank you so much!!
