Story
The aim of the Royal Free Charity is to support patients every step of the way to make their experience the best it can be. The Criticool machine improves patients chances of survival through a simple treatment of maintaining correct body temperature. This protects the patient's brain from injury and reduces the side affects often caused by stroke and cardiac arrest. In the UK there are more than 100,000 strokes a year and 1.2m people living with affects.
