We fund research into type 1 diabetes to find a cure for type 1 diabetes

Story

On 6th May Rich and I are cycling 100 miles from Cardiff to Tenby as part of the Carten100 bike ride!! Eek! We are raising money for JDRF who are the world's leading charitable funder of type 1 diabetes research.  Their aim is to find new ways to treat type 1 diabetes and its complications, prevent type 1 from developing and find the cure for people who already have the condition. A very close family member has type 1 diabetes and before they were diagnosed,  I was unaware on how wide ranging the implications of diabetes are and how life limiting they can be. I'm hoping to raise money to help find a cure for this awful disease. Additionally the 2 race sponsors have agreed to both match the money raised so for every £1 you give, £3 will be given to JDRF (and more if you can giftaid your donation).

I am hoping to reach Tenby by sunset and can't quite believe how far I have committed to cycle! This sponsorship will definitely give me a push on the ride. Any actual pushes during the ride will be welcome too!
