For many weeks now, we have been pounding Epping Forest, Hackney & Walthamstow Marshes, & the hills and highways of Dorset, to ensure we are in great shape for the Big Half 2019!

We are running to raise money for Hope for the Young, a charity that supports young asylum seekers and refugees when they arrive in London. The primary aim is to help get them into education and to support them in education. Lara has been a volunteer mentor with the charity and so she knows how important this work is.

To give you an idea of how useful your contribution will be: £10 pays for one mentoring session, £25 pays for an academic textbook, £60 pays for a bus pass for a young person to travel to and from university, and £250 pays for 6 months of mentoring!
