Story

Niki Walker (of Latimer Hinks Solicitors) and her trusty pooches are taking part in St Teresa's Bark in the Park on Sunday 23rd April to raise much needed funds for St Teresa's Hospice.

12 year old Benson was diagnosed with soft tissue sarcoma, a cancer which affects the tissue and nerves, which sadly resulted in the amputation of his front right leg.

The loss of Benson's leg has not stopped him enjoying himself. He is happy all of the time and has a real zest for life!

Niki wanted to take part in Bark in the Park in memory of colleague Helen Thomas who passed away last year aged 33. Her last moments were spent at St Teresa's Hospice with her loving friends and family.

"Helen was receiving treatment and support from St Teresa's at the same time as Benson was going through his treatment. Helen always asked about Benson whenever we spoke, so i'm walking in memory of Helen to help raise as much money as we can." - Niki Walker

Let's raise as much money we can to help people suffering this awful disease.
