Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
At around Christmas-time, I agreed with a friend that I would do the London 10,000 in 2017 for The Children's Society. As I believe in keeping my word, I have now signed up for this challenge. The Children's Society is a great charity to support as it helps many vulnerable children up and down the country from child refugees to children living in the shadow of abuse or children who for whatever reason have gone missing. Government funding for Children's Services is constantly being cut so the work of The Children's Society is becoming more and more important.
Back in January I started running again and was hoping to be able to run a full 10K by the end of May. However, as some of you will know, I had a set back when I injured my ankle and was out of training for at least 6 weeks. When I am out on the 10K run in a few weeks time, I will be running a bit, walking a bit and I just plan to enjoy being out in the streets of London with thousands of other runners, many of whom will also be supporting charities.
