Last year I had the incredibly difficult responsibility of telling my four children that their father/stepfather had died. It was simply the most heartbreaking thing I have ever had to do. 

Reeling with shock I turned to charities for help on how I can best support the children.

Jigsaw South East have been wonderful. They are on the end of the phone, led me to brilliant resources and run workshops to help children adjust when a close loved one has died.

10K is not far for the major athletes among us! But for me it's the first time I have competed in a running event and by keeping up with training (sometimes with the kids in tow on their bikes!) I have kept mentally healthy.
