Story

Hi all

Over the last couple of years my models have been received favourably, particularly amongst 2000AD fans. Hoping to raise money for a cause I believe in, I am raffling three for charity (see pics) - more on that in a moment.

I’m looking to raise money for Save the Children. They are a fantastic charity who do a lot of work for children and families in the UK.

I am particularly keen on the work they do in Wales. More on that here:

Ideally, Save the Children should not be needed. However, with Austerity in full swing and with no sign of that government policy changing, thousands of children are being plunged into poverty every month, on top of the millions already suffering.

You can read the UN report that discusses it here:

That makes charities such as this essential in giving every child in the UK the best chance they can in life.

So, with that in mind, I am raffling four models. Three will be via this JustGiving page. They are:

3rd prize: Dredd Werewolf - a large piece based on the famous ‘Cry of the Werewolf’ story drawn by Steve Dillon, where Judge Dredd becomes a Werewolf after a nasty bite.

2nd prize: Cookie - a medium sized piece based on the crazed robot cook encountered by Chopper en route to Oz, in the Judge Dredd story of the same name.

1st prize: Don Uggie Apelino, an uplift mobster and firm fan favourite from several Dredd stories. This piece, while the smallest, has been signed by the original artist behind Don Uggie, Mick McMahon.

The fourth piece will be crafted by me as an exclusive for the Lawless convention in Bristol on Saturday May 18th. You will be able to by raffle tickets for it at the event, again for Save the Children.

Also, the draw for the three above will be held at Lawless too.

You can read more about Lawless here:

So, raffle tickets via JustGiving are £2 each. If you choose to opt for the raffle please do the following:

- buy as many tickets as you want, in multiples of £2 (ie £12 equals six tickets).
- do not tick the ‘gift aid’ box. Raffles are not eligible for gift aid.
- Once your donation has gone through, tick the box alongside “I'm happy to be contacted by ". Justgiving can then share your contact details with me. This is so I can put your name in the raffle, and reach you if you have won a model!

Please be aware - there will be one prize per winner. This means if I draw your name for a prize once, any further draws with your name on will be discarded.

If you are not entering the raffle, but still wish to donate please state clearly in the comments ‘not entering raffle’. You can then donate and tick the ‘gift aid’ box.

Thank you very much for your support, and good luck in the raffle!
