..Mane Chance rescues, re-habilitates & re-homes abused & abandoned horses. We also welcome disadvantaged young people & those in need of a little respite, including the vulnerable elderly to our site, to interact with our horses, hens and dogs.Transforming lives together. We help them to help us!

Story

I aim to complete the Royal Parks Half Marathon this year in aid of Mane Chance Sanctuary, a charity that helps both horses and humans.

Some of you will know that I have completed this course for Mane Chance before, this year I booked my charity run place just days before being knocked off my moped in Central London, so here's hoping my knee has the same successful recovery that the horses and ponies at Mane Chance have.

And I'm sure I will run faster for donations!!!

For more information on Mane Chance Sanctuary I've posted their mission statement below, or you can visit http://www.manechancesanctuary.org

Our mission is to rescue and rehabilitate abused, abandoned and old horses, integrating them with the local community.

We regularly host visits from terminally ill children, those with special needs and other underprivileged youngsters fulfilling our aim of helping horses help people.
