We supply specialist equipment to improve the lives of disabled children

Story

My Son Conlan was born with dysplacia of both hips, after several operations and almost a year in a body cast or harness his hips are 'fixed'. However, now Conlan faces the challenge of building up the muscles and learning how to walk. When Conlan's physiotherapist recommended the standing frame in the first picture the 'Evening Chronicle Sunshine Fund' came to the rescue and paid for the frame in full. The effect that the frame has had is fantastic, recently Conlan has been able to walk using a childs 'Zimmer' frame without anyone elses help.

The Evening Chronicle Sunshine Fund is not a big national charity but is a very effective local charity that has genuinely helped many children including Conlan.

To say a thank you to the fund I am taking part in the Cleveland Steelman event, this is a 2km swim, a 90km cycle ride and a nice half marathon to finish (what could be easier).

So please dig deep and donate now.
