Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Six of my friends and I have already completed a three day cycle ride through the Alps which including the iconic climb of Alpe D’Huez (1140m of climbing around 21 bends to the summit at 1860m).
On Sunday 4 th August, I am going to do the Prudential London 100. As the title suggests, it a ride of 100 miles, starting at the Olympic Park in East London, cycling through the centre and out into the Surrey countryside. Turning for home we tackle the climbs of Leith hill and Box hill before riding back into London and finishing on the Mall.
I would be extremely grateful if you would sponsor me to do this next challenge and your generosity would be greatly appreciated by the charity.
I was also going to do the 100 mile Velo North, from Durham, but this has unfortunately been cancelled. So to complete the original challenge, of the Alps and 2 x100 mile rides, I cycled 103 miles on Sunday 21st July, in Northumberland to ensure the challenge will be met.
