We provide performance disabled snowsports to serving and veteran military personnel

Story

Our challenge, from 1st June 2017, is to walk 1,000,000 steps in five days! Our team is made up of 12 people (Alastair Morrison, Dom Philpott, Kathleen Harkins, Kirsten Lunn, Dallas Mabon, Brendan Nolan, Jane Wilson, Gill Nairne, Gordon Gooch, Katherine Lynch, Paul Dennis and Steven Sadler)  from the Edinburgh Leonardo site who are going to be walking in their sleep by the end of the challenge! #leonardofitbitters

We're raising money for The Armed Forces Para-Snowsport Team (AFPST) (formerly the Combined Services Disabled Ski Team) who is a service charity which seeks to accelerate the recovery of wounded, injured or sick military personnel and veterans. This is achieved through the medium of performance alpine skiing, snowboarding and Nordic/Biathlon cross-country skiing, proving a winter sports focus for disabled athletes to regain their spirit of challenge and competition.
