I chose to fundraise for CBM because it is a charity that I grew up with. My dad worked tirelessly for CBM for 35 years and received an OBE for all the work he did you help people with disabilities in West Africa. 

CBM is a charity that helps people with disabilities in developing countries - You can imagine the money, resources and work done within the UK to make sure people with disabilities have the right support and their rights met. In developing countries, people with disabilities are generally seen as a burden to families and serve no purpose in society simply because they haven't been given a fighting chance. CBM helps give them not only a fighting chance but the chance to thrive and contribute to society and their families.

I have seen people transition from being beggars to farmers, craftsmen and teachers simply because programs and materials were put in place. Please help me reach my goal and I promise your money will be used to help people get an operation that will change their life, be put in a program that gives them a livelihood and independence but most importantly a chance to contribute to their society and family.
