Eddy and I will set off on the 5th Waterberg Challenge Ride on Sunday 27th January 2019 riding 200km across 7 game reserves.  It will be hot, dusty and extremely challenging for both horse and rider.  Particularly, the riders in our case!!  We will be spending approx 7 hours in the saddle each day but our aim is to raise sponsorship for Save the Waterberg Rhino and the local community.  

A rhino is killed every 8 hours in South Africa alone and consequently rhino populations are still at critical endangered levels.

Each rider is covering the total cost of their trip so every penny raised in sponsorship will go directly to funding anti-rhino poaching security plus other essential local projects.
