At the start of this year I decided I wanted to raise awareness for Inflammatory Bowel Disease. I suffer from a form of IBD called Crohn's Disease. Crohn's disease is an inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). It causes inflammation of your digestive tract, which can lead to abdominal pain, severe diarrhea, fatigue, weight loss and malnutrition. ... The inflammation caused by Crohn's disease often spreads deep into the layers of affected bowel tissue.

I've decided to take on a challenge, I decided that I would run the Bournemouth Half Marathon in October 2018. This is going to challenge me physically, emotionally and mentally. I decided to go straight for the half marathon instead of a 5/10k, I want to aim high and smash this to the best of my ability. 

Raising awareness for this will spread the word about IBD, how it is invisible and without us telling you, you wouldnt know we had it! 

Please dig deep so we can work towards getting a cure for this illness!!
