In April 2019 I traveled to Iraq with Khalsa Aid to see first hand the work that this charity does, in particular with the Yezidi community. This is a community that has been through unimaginable horrors, and the trip has impacted me hugely. Through the delivery of essential resources, the building of shelter and schools and the provision of skills training to provide people with a future, Khalsa Aid is helping to give this community a new start and a better future. The work that Khalsa Aid does with the Yezidi community represents only a small portion of their work. This charity is out on the ground making a real difference to human beings from all backgrounds, all across the world.

Anyone who knows me knows that running has never been my thing, but this is the least I can do to raise some money but more importantly some awareness of the vital role that Khalsa Aid plays.
