Hello, my name is Lilly Elson, I'm 13 years old and I want to make a difference. 

How? I can hear you ask.... I am going to have my hair shaved off and hopefully, through sponsorship, I'll raise lots of money for Manx Cancer Help.  Then I will donate my hair to the Little Princess Trust to make a wig out of it.

I will also undertake other fundraising events in order to raise more money.

I want to raise money AND awareness because not everybody understands the challenges faced by people with cancer and their families. I lost my grandma to cancer and it was so difficult, and I want to do everything I can to help others in a similar situation. I also want to make someone feel confident in a lovely wig, as I know it must be hard for people who lost their hair to cancer and the disadvantages they experience.
