On a whim, I decided to sign up to run a marathon. You may know that I used to run fairly regularly (and wasn't too bad at it), but I got out of the habit quite quickly after I went to university. Now I'm desperate to get back into my old running habits and by April 2018, I hope to be as in love with it as I used to be. 

The reason I chose to run for Guide Dogs is fairly obvious - if you know me at all. I am obsessed with dogs! Last year, I had the amazing experience of spending a day at a Guide Dog Breeding Centre and I learned a lot about how difficult it is to get around if you are blind or partially sighted. I also learned that these dogs aren't just super cute, they are a life line for people and they are pretty amazing. Guide Dogs receive absolutely no government funding, which is something that totally shocked me when they explained this to me.
