Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. On 4th May 2014 I ran a half marathon to raise money for the fantastic work of Myeloma UK. I amazed myself by running the race in 1 hour 51 minutes, far less than I thought I could manage given my times during training. Thanks to all those who have so generously provided sponsorship - it was a huge motivator. And for those who haven't yet, there is still time!

A friend was diagnosed with Myeloma in 2012, aged 33. Because Myeloma is a rare form of cancer, fundraising is limited. But the money that has been raised so far has made a big difference in identifying new treatments and more is desperately needed to improve treatment and try to find a cure.

Any support you could give would mean a lot to my friend and other Myeloma patients. Thanks!

Finally, any of you who know this friend, they would like to maintain their anonymity so grateful if you could avoid writing their name in any comments you leave with your donation. Thanks again.
