On the 11th March 2017, I will be heading out to Morocco for two weeks to work as a vet in one of the SPANA equine centres. 

I've decided that its about time to  put  my veterinary skills to use, where they will be needed and valued. 

There are 5 centres in Morocco with 9 mobile clinics reaching animals in remote communities from the edges of the Sahara to the Atlas mountains.

There are an estimated 2 million working donkeys,mules and horses in Morocco. SPANA aim to treat sick and injured animals, train owners and local professionals to bring about sustainable change and to teach local children about welfare and challenging negative attitudes that can lead to ill treatment of working animals.

Please donate whatever you can afford to help SPANA treat sick and injured working animals abroad, countless families across the developing world depends on horses, mules and donkeys for their livelihoods.
