I will spend a few hours racing on the streets (up to 17 hours!) but some people have no choice but to spend all their days on the streets.  The Wellspring does a fantastic job, providing practical support with everyday needs, including medical advice,  help drawing up CVs and doing job applications and finding housing, as well as providing food, clothing, showers and sleeping bags.  I have been so lucky, but some people have found themselves without help or resources and life has become overwhelming.  I want to help them.  My target of £1406 means I will be raising £10 for every mile of pain:  2.4 mile swim, then 112 miles on the bike, and finally a marathon to run (26.2 miles).  I want my time on the streets to be benefit those with no choice but to live there.
