Story

3 years ago I set up the Give a Dog a Bone charity, which I run, in my spare time, as a working Mum.

Last year, the charity's costs were £16,000.

This money enabled the over 60s to either adopt a rescue pet companion OR to keep their beloved pet, when things got tough, financially.

Over 13,000 individuals follow the Give a Dog a Bone facebook page.

If each person on that page donated just £1, it would help fund this year's charitable work.

About the charity

We support the over 60s to afford a rescue pet companion. If money is a genuine barrier, we can pay the rehoming fee for a RESCUE animal and continue to support, each month, with the cost of pet food. 'Helping individuals through loneliness and animals through homelessness'.
