Fundraising for RP Fighting Blindness
RP Fighting Blindness specialises in funding pioneering research into the causes of retinitis pigmentosa and inherited retinal dystrophies, which cause progressive sight loss. We also offer dedicated support to the thousands of people in the UK affected by this range of conditions.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Retinitis pigmentosa (RP) is a hereditary disease of the eye that leads to loss of vision and blindness. Myself, my brother and my mum have RP.
There is currently no known cure or treatment for RP
RP Fighting Blindness works hard to stimulate and fund cutting edge research to find a treatment or cure and support those affected. Many of the genes causing RP and related conditions are being discovered (or mapped) and it’s this understanding of where the faults occur in the genetic information that might lead to treatment in the future.
I am hoping to raise as much money as possible for the charity which will prove beneficial in years to come.
To raise this money I will be taking part in the Isle of Wight Challenge by completing 106km around the Isle of Wight starting on the morning of Saturday 29th April finishing 30+ hours later on Sunday 30th April. CHALLENGE COMPLETED!!!
Every penny counts, I really hope you can help to support this worthy cause.
