We provide support services and work to reduce the number of baby deaths

Story

Hi my name is Lucy Dunn and I am Associate Editor of Grazia Magazine. We have been given an amazing opportunity to run with the torch this Wednesday in London - and we'd like to put it to very good use! So I'm raising money for Sands, a stillbirth and neonatal death charity in the UK, and a charity Grazia has been involved in some time.

According to recent figures 11 babies are stillborn every day. Shocking research has found that Britain is ranked second from bottom: 33 out of 35 countries in the developed world for stillbirth rates. Last May Grazia joined forces with Sands to demand change, and have since continued to support their campaign for increased research funding as well as NHS support. Sands rely heavily on the fundraising efforts of the public for the amazing work they do with bereaved families. I hope to help out in a little way. If you are able to, we would be so grateful.
