Story

So a little while ago I decided I was sick of my hair, and I wanted to shave my head, but wanted to do some good through doing it!

On September 7th this year, I'm shaving my head to raise money for St Ives Youth Theatre, a local theatre group that is a family to around fifty people aged from 11-18, including myself, (see their site here http://www.siyt.co.uk/ ) and an LGBT youth charity, The Albert Kennedy Trust, a charity which helps vulnerable LGBT people aged 16-25 with issues such as homelessness and abuse (see their website here http://www.akt.org.uk/ ). The actual hair chopped off will be donated to The Little Princess Trust, a charity that makes wigs for children with diseases that cause hair loss, such as cancer and alopecia (see their website http://www.littleprincesses.org.uk/ )

My hair is currently down to the base of my spine - this is around five years of growth - so it's going to be quite a chop, but I hope that a little girl or boy will have a gorgeous wig from the hair I've loved my whole life.

The pages are separate as unfortunately JustGiving only allows one charity per page, I'd please ask if you're donating to halve your donation between both of the pages; I'd like to equally raise money for both of these charities as they both mean a lot to me!

Also, anyone who donates twenty pounds or more can shave a part of my head, if they so wish! Please message me if you have any questions, I'll keep this page updated with new info and any important news.

Thank you, Lucy x
