We help children born without eyes to reach their potential and enjoy life

Story

We have decided to take on this challenge to raise money for a fantastic charity that supports children born with Microphthalmia(underdeveloped eyes), Anophthalmia (without eyes) and Coloboma (cleft of the eye). These eye conditions are often accompanied by many other health conditions and can be a very lonely and overwhelming experience for any parent.

MACS offers practical and emotional support for the children and their families effected by these rare conditions, which leaves them either blind or visually impaired. They provide financial aid for much needed equipment and help families through each stage of their journey.

The amazing work they do helps fund scientific research and helps raise the awareness of these conditions. Group activities and events are also organised by MACS, enabling families to network and support each other bringing a sense of normality into their lives.
