Hamble Lifeboat is an independent lifeboat service operating since 1968 in one of the busiest stretches of water in the UK. Our standard operating area is Central Solent & Southampton Water and associated rivers Test, Itchen and Hamble.We rely on generous donations from the public in order for our entirely voluntary crew to provide this declared facility for the UK Coastguard. We receive no funding from the MCA or the RNLI.
