Footsteps Foundation improves the quality of life for children and young adults with neuro-motor disorders. We provide them with access to a unique programme of intensive physiotherapy at the Footsteps Centre, enabling them to reach their full potential whilst gaining confidence and independence.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

A team of personnel led by the Military Provost Guard Service (MPGS) at RAF Benson will be pulling a Puma helicopter the length of the runway on Friday 15th June 2018.  We are raising funds for the Footsteps Foundation, which helps and assists children with debilitating disabilities. The team, which provides security for RAF Benson 24/7, will be supported by colleagues from the Royal Air Force Police and 33 Squadron to make sure they can safely pull the RAF support helicopter for more than a mile along the main runway.  The helicopter is currently saving lives in Afghanistan and in September 2017 was deployed to deliver emergency aid in the Caribbean so it is only fitting that the aircraft is used to help provide life-changing funds for local children.
