We campaign to end child poverty in the UK for good.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This summer I am attempting to trek the full GR20 long distance hiking trail in Corsica. The GR20 has been crowned the most difficult trek in Europe. It is much tougher than any trek I have done and I'm enormously excited to visit this beautiful island and trek 180km of world famous hiking trail. This Just Giving page has been set up to raise funds for the Child Poverty Action Group (CPAG), a charity that is committed to ending child poverty in the UK. My goal is to complete the full GR20 in 15 days (which is 13 long days back-to-back hiking + no rest days). The island is rugged and terrain is rough. There will be plenty of scrambling over exposed sections and on certain days we will use steel chains and ladders for support. It's going to be tough. Please dig deep and donate what you can to help the Child Poverty Action Group continue their hard work to end child poverty in the UK. No matter how big or small your donation is, it will be appreciated! With your support, the Child Poverty Action Group can continue researching and campaigning to bring about positive change and end to child poverty in the UK.

Ps - Don't forget to Gift Aid it.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your money gets sent directly to the charity and JustGIving make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.

We are the trusted voice on child poverty. On average nine children in a classroom of 30 are growing up in poverty. That's 4.3 million children in the UK. Our vision is a society free from child poverty, where all children can enjoy a childhood without financial hardship.
