Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I'm raising money for the University of Cambridge Veterinary School Trust, CAMVET. I am doing this as a result of my contact with Cambridge through Solent Dog Display Team who annually fund raise to help buy equipment and resources specifically for the small animal treatment unit.
"Camvet is a small charity dedicated to raising funds for the Queen's Veterinary School Hospital here in Cambridge. The hospital runs on a not-for-profit basis, so our goal is to fund essential equipment and facilities for diagnosing and treating the many thousands of animals referred for care. In addition, we help to fund teaching projects for our veterinary students. Every donation, no matter how large or small, really does make a huge difference to our animal patients". http://camvet.vet.cam.ac.uk/
Many years ago, my horse died from cancer at 9 years old and I wish I had known about the Cambridge Veterinary Hospital specialist cancer treatment unit then. I have since visited the hospital with my son who has fund raised for them and the equipment, facilities and staff there are truly amazing. If you are an animal lover, please help me keep donating to this incredible charity.
