Every Year Mahirs Experience supports a charity, and this year we based our choice on something that was close to our heart…

Autism is a developmental condition that can affect the way you think and feel. There is such a wide spectrum as to the severity of the condition, and diagnosis can be a long drawn out process which takes its toll on the families it directly involves.

Many people do not understand Autism and its effects on those with the condition, Mahirs Experience wants to raise awareness by Supporting www.autismwestmidlands.org

We take for granted the ease of being able to socially interact, communicate and behave in the so called ‘prescribed’ manner..just imagine not being able to decipher others body language, a greeting, a joke, not being able to deal with a break in routine, or a busy shopping centre..makes you think no?? Give generously, so we can help to help others.

The Mahirs team fundraise in various ways, a few examples are climbing Snowdownia, football tournaments, monthly dress down days, cake sales, pledging a generous percentage of the food tasting costs.
