I am doing a trek in the Grand Canyon to raise money for Celia Hammond Animal Trust so they can continue to rescue and rehome animals. 

In 2013 one of my friends was a cat foster-er for the Hastings Branch of the Celia Hammond Animal Trust and one evening i went to visit my friend and meet the cats she was fostering at the time, a pair of sisters called Lily & Luna. Lily & Luna were 2 years old and had spent most of their lives at the CHAT Sanctuary and so my friend was helping to socialise them and bring them out of themselves so they could be rehomed. The moment i saw Lily & Luna i knew i wanted to adopt them. I had my husband Ryan come and meet them as he loves cats as much as i do. Ryan didn't take much convincing and so in August 2013 we adopted Lily and Luna and they came to live with us and our other two non rescue cats Gambit & Rogue.  Having four cats can be a challenge at times but they bring us such joy that we wouldn't change a thing!
