Story
I work alongside an inspiring, local charity which works to develop confidence in visually impaired young people. They initially supported a visually impaired 5 year old at our Rutherford House School. Their focus in supporting these young people taking charge of their futures is utterly inspiring and an extremely worthwhile cause.
The RLSB are on a mission to ensure every single blind child has the self-belief and skills to fulfill the potential we know they’ve all got! They do this by; providing family engagement workers who operate our support service, conducting an employability facility and delivering an array of peer based social/sporting activities for our many beneficiaries to take part in. Many of these programmes our delivered in our Halley House School in Hackney.
