We support people to help rebuild lives after stroke.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In September 2010 a friend of mine, Jolyon, had a major stroke (aged just 39 at the time) which laid him low for a few months.  Thankfully he now seems to have made a full recovery (but sometimes it is hard to tell!) and is leading his normal busy life again.

A while ago he mentioned that he had this crazy idea of raising money for the Stoke Association by doing a Firewalk.  The subject popped up again the other week and I thought 'you know what, I think that I will have a go myself...'.

So here I am signed up and looking for donations to support a great cause.  Time is short - The Stroke Association Valentines Firewalk is taking place on the Sunday 12th February, so we need to get your donations coming through fast.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
