RoadPeace

RoadPeace is the national charity for road crash victims. We provide practical and emotional support to victims through a helpline, befriender network, and information guides on the legal procedures that follow a crash. RoadPeace also campaigns for justice for victims and road danger reduction policies that champion the needs of vulnerable road users. RoadPeace won the Guardian Charity Award winners in 2008. Help us make the world a safer and fairer place.

Story

On Saturday 23rd April, my daughter Elizabeth and I will be repeating the ride we did last year in memory of Christian and Niggy Townend, who were so tragically killed in December 2010 when a coach drove into them whilst they were out riding in the Lake District.

Roadpeace is a brilliant charity founded by bereaved relatives which works hard for road crash victims and campaigns for justice.

As in previous years I intend to do the ride twice, once for Christian and once for Niggy.
