Why Four Paws?
Back in May 2013, my (then) wife saw a post on Facebook stating how a bear named Masha was being brutally treated in the Ukraine. It genuinely broke her heart!
She hastily arranged a local charity night with the hope of maybe raising a few hundred quid towards to the rescue attempt. We managed to raise just over £1700. We were astonished!!!
Masha was eventually rescued by the incredible team at Four Paws and now resides at the Nadiya bear sanctuary in the Ukraine and has gone from strength to strength.
