Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Most of you know some of my story, I am 3 years old I was born on the 2nd of January at Broomfield hospital. I was born with a large lump (the size of a adults fist) on my lower stomach and groin. I was taken by ambulance to Chelsea and Westminster Neo natal unit where i was also diagnosed with two holes in my heart and a murmur. A week later I underwent my first operation to repair the ruptures in my stomach, the operation was susessfull and I was placed in intensive care and the next day onto the children's ward.

When I was a year old I underwent my second operation which was also a success. I still continue to attended Chelsea and Westminster to have my ECG, heart scans and see my heart specialist. Thankfully one of the holes in my heart closed naturally and I am left with one hole and a murmur.

From the cardio ward, children's wards, neo natel, intensive care unit and the surgical team every member of staff has not only looked after me but have supported me and my parents through out my care. We can't thank them enough for all they have done.

So on the 16th of June I will be doing a sponsored swim which will be as many widths of the pool as I can do in 30 minutes (obviously aided by my trusty armbands). All money raised will go towards equipment and helping the children's wards at Chelsea & Westminster so other children can receive the support and care I received.

Any donations would be great fully received even a £1 will make all the difference. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity.
