The Col’s Fund Grenadier Guards was set up to support our wounded and bereaved Grenadiers and their families effected through combat operations. 

Last year I lead a group of wounded and bereaved up Ben Nevis and the previous year up Snowdon and Kinder Scout, the achievement was amazing, there were individuals who had limbs missing, brain injuries and loss of eye sight as well as those suffering with mental health problems. 

This inspired me to take the challenge of walking up Scaffell Pike, our highest mountain in England, therefor completing “The 3 Peaks, in 3 years”, with a group of wounded and bereaved, and a large amount of Grenadier veterans have also signed up to the challenge.
