This year I am taking part in the Great North Run. I am raising money for the Durham County Cricket Club foundation. This charity works with local communities and organise local cricket coaching sessions which help young children and other members of the community get away from everyday life. They use the game of cricket to inspire, engage and educate communities. Having played cricket from an extremely young age, I understand being exposed to a new sport is an exciting prospect and by raising money for this foundation, I am certain we can continue the spread and development of this wonderful game.
